This week I will continue the construction of the main tomb chamber.
When I reviewed the last modeling, I found a very important mistake, that is, the mountain was not entirely empty. I couldn't directly see the altar from the direction of the main gate, so I added walls and the mountain that was inserted.




For the altar part, I added more seats and created a more abyss-like atmosphere by adding a fog grid. But no matter how I changed it, it always seemed a bit off. Next week, I will start the modeling of the last forest area and continue to modify the modeling of this main tomb chamber：

  PROCESS This week, I first enriched the modeling details: Because I have been looking at this scene all the time and feel a bit tired of it, I don't know how to better highlight the dark and damp atmosphere.  PROCESS Regarding the specific design of the divine tree , I was contemplating in my mind how to transform these words into a three-dimensional model.  First, I clarified the overall shape and structure of the divine tree, which is a sprawling thousand-year-old tree. Therefore, it doesn't have a very obvious upward growth trend from the roots, but rather the branches are intricately intertwined and spiral upwards, with branches of different thicknesses crossing each other. Moreover, I believe that even if the divine tree is so large that its entire appearance cannot be seen, it must have a main trunk. So, I plan to make two parts, the main trunk and the branches, and then place them in a crisscross manner.  In the book, the protagonist group guessed about the divine tree like this: such a large bronze tree, they should regard it as a divine tree symbolizing the mythical tree of Fusang .   PROCESS This week, I focused on shaping the details of the tomb chamber part. First of all, I added some lamp posts around the coffin. I placed lanterns at fixed intervals, and the primary purpose was to guide the players' line of sight. However, the arrangement of the lamp posts was also investigated. I combined the arrangement of the lamp posts with the 28 constellations: This idea came from watching the TV series " The Lost Tomb :" I thought of " The Lost Cave of Longling ". It is also an excellent TV drama with the theme of tomb raiding. (Because I have always been very interested in Chinese history and metaphysics, apart from "The Lost Tomb", I also like to watch other TV dramas and books of this kind in my daily life.)
